The Journey 2004- 2024 and the Tributes

Vivien was Melbourne's premier show girl staring at the Xchange hotel for many years in many shows and at the Greyhound Hotel in a number of shows, notably one of the greatest  drag show of all time "The Classics which ran for over eight years and was a regular show girl in "the Pokys' at the Prince of Wales Hotel

We had the privilege of photographing Vivien on a number of occasions. The photo above is from the Classics as Scarlet O'Hara from Gone With The Wind in 2006

Sadly Vivien died in 2009 after a short illness which devastated the LGBTQIA+ community. Rhonda Burchmore performed at Vivien's memorial

The legend that was Miss Candee died in 2022. I had the privilege of photographing Candee "Ron Walker " on many occasions.

Candee featured in the 2011  Legends of Drag calendar which I photographed and was the cover photograph with Barbra Quicksand.

There are a number of photographs in the gallery of Ron as Candee as Candee Claus and with the calendar boys over a number of years.

Almost 1000 people turned out for  Miss Candee's  " Ron Walker's" memorial service at St. Kilda town hall.

The amazing and beautiful David  Bignox modelled for me in photographs from 2009-2013. He was a premier dancer in stage and drag shows around the Melbourne club and theatre scene. 

He featured in the 2011 Young and Gay Calendar  which I photographed at many locations around Victoria. His photos were taken at Mooraduc Quarry and at Mornington and Frankston Beaches. He was also the cover photograph of this calendar. 

David was a featured calendar boy and appeared in much of the advertising for many stage shows and danced in many stage shows as well as appearing in festivals and events.

David modelled for us working on numerous  projects including featuring in Killing Heidi's  Musical video for the smash hit and ARIA award wining Mascara

David modelled for me from 2000-2006 where many great shoots at various locations were undertaken in Victoria and New South Wales.

He Featured in the Calendar boys in 2004, the Dream Girls show which toured  the stages in Melbourne and Sydney

David was in the 2005 Young and Gay Calendar and some of those photos and photos from other shoots are included . on this site

Byron a body builder in more recent years  featured in two months in the 2011  LGBTQIA+ Young and Gay Calendar.

He also featured with David Bignox and the famous drag entertainer Sue Ridge in the 2011  Legends of Drag Calendar.

Byron who is no stranger to a camera has undertaken various  photographic projects and modelled for me from 2011-2013.

The clandars were an annual part of my photographic work as featured above with the late great Miss Candee (Ron Walker).

I wish to thank all the participants including all the boys, drag entertainers and our current models for being part of my team over the years. There is however, much more to come

Although we can't put  all the many thousands of photos I have taken for various promotions, festivals company's and charities over the years on the page, I have made what I think is a good selection of the best photographs.
